The world needs journalists - journalists who show compassion, uncover truths and find the heart of the story. From international headlines to hyper-local problems, I am constantly curious and excited about my work getting answers people depend on.

Some of the pieces I'm most proud of include an investigation into how numerous industry disasters are impacting a small town's environment and people as well as coverage of local women leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement. Both of these stories were recognized with Emmy Awards, an event which I was invited to help host in Florida in 2023. 

 I'm now focusing on more investigative stories and love going in depth to uncover information, but I cherish the time I spent flexing my creativity in light feature stories as the former face of the First Coast Foodies franchise.
